Senior Manual Tester

At emagine, we are actively seeking experienced freelance IT consultants for the role of Senior Manual Tester. The ideal candidate will excel in reviewing business and technical requirements, conducting extensive testing, and enhancing test coverage through automation. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality assurance are essential to thrive in this position.

Main Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility is to ensure comprehensive testing of functional requirements through meticulous planning and execution.

• Review business and technical requirements to identify test approaches.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UATs) and System Integration Testing (SIT) with stakeholders.
• Design and execute tests, reporting results including defects using qTest and JIRA.
• Increase test coverage through automation practices utilizing Git, Jenkins, and Report Portal.
• Proactively engage in improving processes for QA activities.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to support ongoing project tasks.
• Create test data and validate use cases effectively.
• Communicate effectively to drive automation focus among team members.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in test design and execution.
• Proficient knowledge of Hadoop and experience with SQL queries.
• Background in testing within complex integrated environments.
• Understanding of the Banking and Cards domain; T24 knowledge is a plus.
• Strong skills in data manipulation using formats like XML, CSV, and JSON.
• Experience in SAFe/Agile methodologies.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Adept at working with globally distributed teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of additional scripting languages and programming skills.
