Senior Mainframe Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Mainframe Specialist to support an essential project aimed at migrating from Broadcom/CA technologies to alternative solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in IBM zOS and related technologies to analyze, design, and implement changes effectively within the project environment.

What we offer:

Rate: 165 -175 PLN/ h + VAT

Location : Lodz, Warszawa, Gdańsk, Gdynia ( hybrid 2 days from office)

Long Term B2B Contract

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a key member of the project team.

• Analyze the current use of mainframe software within the organization.

• Define, assess, and design new solutions to replace existing systems.

• Plan and execute migrations to target solutions.

• Support the implementation of changes and configurations.

Key Requirements

• Knowledge and experience working with IBM zOS.

• Understanding of Endevor configuration.

• Proven experience in cross-platform communications.

• Familiarity with mainframe and midrange scripting languages.

• Knowledge of mainframe Unix System Service.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CA tools such as Easytrieve, Telon, JCL Check, CA Spool, and TPX.

• Understanding of mainframe SDLC, CICD, and VSCode.

• Keen insight into midrange tool integration with mainframe systems.

• Knowledge of mainframe infrastructure including transaction managers, databases, queue systems, CICS, IMS, etc.
