Introduction & Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Developer to support the PIP Downtown team in advancing development efforts towards business deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess senior-level expertise in Java, Kafka, and SQL, coupled with a strong background in building distributed, highly-available applications. You will play a crucial role in implementing advanced architectural patterns to ensure seamless operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and optimizing code for critical business applications.

• Support development tasks for PIP Downtown team.

• Design and implement Kafka producer and consumer code.

• Optimize SQL queries in various RDBMS.

• Build high-throughput, highly-available applications.

• Apply domain-driven design and clean code principles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration.

• Document code and development processes for future reference.

Key Requirements

• Senior proficiency in Java.

• Extensive experience in designing and optimizing Kafka code.

• Senior-level expertise in SQL (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, or similar RDBMS).

• Proven experience in building distributed applications.

• Hands-on knowledge of domain-driven design and microservices architecture.

• Strong understanding of event sourcing architecture patterns.

• Commitment to maintaining clean code standards.
