Senior IT Tester – Banking (Manual, API, Mortgages)

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking experienced IT Testers with a strong background in the mortgage domain to join our team for an exciting project. The successful candidates will have over 10 years of expertise in testing, particularly in PEGA and API testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our testing processes within an agile environment tailored to meet the unique needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities

The IT Testers will be responsible for the following core duties:

• Continuous testing of newly created functions.

• Maintaining and updating test cases to align with best practices.

• Executing Daily Test Runs and reviewing results.

• Updating the list of test cases in the testing management tool.

• Planning and executing regression tests for each release.

• Reporting and verifying defects and issues.

• Recommending actions for test execution improvements.

• Identifying additional testing scenarios.

• Conducting end-to-end testing of applications and surrounding ecosystems.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Software Testing.

• Strong testing experience (preferably with PEGA and API) in the mortgages domain.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive with a tester mindset focused on quality and detail.

• Experience in manual testing (Functional, System & Integration, API, and PEGA).

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, Xray, or HP ALM).

• Ability to work in an international, cross-country environment.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Willingness to learn new tools and processes.

• Experience with Agile teams, including Jira and Confluence.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of automated API testing tools (e.g., Postman collections, REST Assured, Cypress).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in testing microservices-based architectures.

• System Testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile).
