Summary

The Senior IT Test Manager is responsible for overseeing the testing processes in a project environment, ensuring the implementation of comprehensive test strategies that assure product quality across various dimensions of the development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design comprehensive test plans and cases, identify potential test scenarios.

• Own and manage the end-to-end test strategy including risk-based testing and quality KPIs.

• Conduct requirements quality and testability reviews of user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Utilize advanced test design techniques and build test plans for each release with defined criteria.

• Orchestrate system integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing processes.

• Maintain traceability from requirements through to defects and evidence.

• Select appropriate test types based on identified risks within the system.

• Prepare and manage test data effectively for diverse testing scenarios.

• Drive collaboration within Agile/Scrum environments and support release planning processes.

• Test APIs and understand REST principles, including managing service dependencies.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience with test automation and maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Experience with microservices architecture principles.

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

• Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and headers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with contract testing and schema validation.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools and strategies.

• Additional certifications in testing methodologies.
