Senior IT Solution Architect

Summary:

The Senior IT Solution Architect plays a critical role in the Oil & Gas industry, focusing on developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity and network security solutions. The primary goal is to leverage extensive technical expertise in both pre-sales and post-sales functions to create valuable solutions tailored to customer needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Architect end-to-end network and security solutions using Enterprise Cybersecurity & Network Security Solutions.

• Engage with customers in pre-sales activities including solution positioning, proposals, and proof of concepts (PoCs).

• Provide delivery support and governance during implementation phases.

• Optimize security architectures based on organizational needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to simplify complex technical concepts for better understanding.

• Prepare technical documentation and deliver presentations to business stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive IT solution design experience.

• 3-5 years in an architecture or senior consulting role.

• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity, IT security, networking, and application security.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CCSP.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman.

• Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.

• Strong customer engagement skills.

Other Details:

• Strong preference for candidates who can start immediately.

• Exceptional cases may allow for a maximum of a 60-day notice period.
