Senior IT Operations Leader

PROJECT INFORMATION:

Location: Gdańsk (hybrid model: 1- 2 days a week in the office)

Remuneration: 170 pln/h +VAT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop in-depth knowledge of applications and provide hands-on support for resolving production issues
• Own and manage end-to-end production execution processes, with a focus on delivering reliable and consistent outcomes.
• Regularly update stakeholders on production execution status and key metrics.
• Act as a central communication bridge between business units, IT development teams, and operations.
• Work closely with business units and IT capabilities to resolve product issues.
• Serve as the operations point of contact for all IT teams.
• Validate, approve, and act as a gatekeeper for changes to the production environment.
• Handle incident and problem defect management processes in alignment with established SOPs.
• Coordinate with Scrum Masters to ensure swift and effective resolution of production issues.
• Identify gaps in the existing production execution processes and recommend actionable improvements.
• Leverage feedback and learnings to enhance operational practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3-4 years of team leadership in IT operations.
• Experience in the banking industry.
• Experience with SQL, Hadoop.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex production challenges.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on execution excellence.
