Summary: The Senior IT Analyst role primarily focuses on analyzing and designing data solutions to enhance the organization's data management strategies, particularly within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in data management, data modeling, and stakeholder communication - should be prepared for a role that emphasizes the integration of both business analysis and data management approaches.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Senior IT Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in improving our data management processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Analyze and document current data lineage, including legacy systems and data sources; create lineage diagrams and detail data models.
Design a future state data solution by evaluating data quality and collaborating with stakeholders to draft solutions for data acquisition and integration.
Key Requirements:
Min. 4+ years’ experience within data management, IT/business analyst or architect.
Deep knowledge of data modeling, data flow, and data mapping techniques.
Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, databases (e.g., Snowflake, DB2), ETL/ELT tools (e.g., DBT, Alteryx), and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlikview).
Experience in solution design and integration.
Prior experience in the banking domain.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Strong stakeholder management skills, including communication, collaboration, requirement gathering, and expectation management.
Nice to Have:
Experience with data testing and SQL.
Knowledge of technical documentation.
Familiarity with Alteryx.
Background in data analysis and data architecture.
Experience with data programming and Snowflake.
