We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Tester.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the development team to develop new functionalities and maintain existing ones on the Homepage web platform within the Banking domain. Your primary objective will be to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high quality of deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyse the testing requirements for new features based on business requirements, and create corresponding test plans and test cases.

• Keep the team's test setup up to date.

• Collaborate with Test Managers outside the immediate team.

• Participate actively in refining user stories.

• Work closely with the development team throughout the development process to ensure effective test coverage and quality assurance.

• Manage both functional and technical testing of solutions throughout development and before launch.

• Focus primarily on manual testing practices.

• Act as a liaison between developers and business stakeholders.

  
  

Key Requirements

• Strong expertise with Azure DevOps, Cross Browser Testing, and browser DevTools.

• ISTQB certification or similar qualification.

• Knowledge of test techniques and proficiency in writing test scenarios in any test management tool.

• Willingness to learn and understand the banking business domain.

• Experience in testing across multiple devices with a mobile-first mindset.

• Understanding of development methodologies such as Scrum/SAFe.

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with Postman, SQL, Optimizely (Episerver), Salesforce, and Playwright.net.
