Senior Fullstack Java Engineer

Summary

The role focuses on supporting the delivery of projects for the Global Disbursements Platform, which facilitates fast and efficient fund movement and payments for clients worldwide.

The main objective is to enable solution delivery through high-quality analysis, Agile design, and strong stakeholder management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Building and supporting back-end and front-end services, microservices, and applications using Java 11/17/21 and ReactJS.

• Migrating systems from legacy mainframe and IBM WebSphere to modern solutions utilizing APIs or microservices integration.

• Implementing automation testing frameworks to reduce testing costs.

• Enhancing Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities of services.

Key Requirements:

• Java 11+ (essential), Java 17+ (preferable).

• Kubernetes.

• Git.

• Fluency in Unix-based systems and command-line interfaces.

• Proficiency in database technologies and SQL, with Oracle preferred.

• Experience with RESTful microservices and APIs.

• Knowledge of HTTP web technologies, specifically JavaScript and React.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a DevOps delivery team.

• Understanding of application monitoring.

• Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot.
