Senior ETL Developer

Industry: Banking

Hybrid way of work - 2-3 times per week in Warsaw’s or Gdansk’s office

Budget: 170PLN/h + VAT on B2B contract

Summary: This role primarily focuses on developing and managing ETL solutions, ensuring high standards of reliability and stability while integrating AI-driven processes to enhance software delivery. The main objective is to support business partners and improve the efficiency and maintainability of the data solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and engineer ETL solutions with a high standard of reliability and stability.

• Collaborate with business partners, data users, and solution architects to anticipate and address business demands.

• Manage end-to-end solution design and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

• Optimize workflows using AI tools to enhance efficiency and maintainability of solutions.

• Provide technical leadership, ensuring adherence to code quality practices and modern engineering standards.

Key Requirements:

• Comprehensive experience with ETL processes.

• Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and Python.

• Established background in event-driven systems, particularly Kafka.

• Experience in designing REST APIs and using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.

• Practical experience with AI systems for requirement elicitation, documentation, and refactoring.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with proven client-facing experience.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to data warehouse principles.

• Familiarity with or willingness to learn data modeling.

• Knowledge of Java programming.
