Senior DevOps Engineer

Project Information:

• Start: ASAP

• Localization: 100% remote

• Project length: 12 months + possible extensions

Summary: The role of the DevOps Engineer is crucial for enhancing the stability, security, and automation of cloud and infrastructure platforms within a collaborative team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Core duties include managing server environments and ensuring smooth operations of applications.

• Linux server administration

• Management and deployment on AWS, including EKS and Kubernetes

• Utilizing containers (Docker) for application deployment

• Implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

• Automating CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Octopus

• Developing scripts in Bash and Python for automation tasks

• Setting up and configuring monitoring and logging with Zabbix, Grafana, and Prometheus

• Troubleshooting and managing incidents effectively

• Ensuring backup, availability, and platform reliability

Key Requirements:

• Strong Linux experience

• Hands-on experience with AWS (specifically EKS and Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Octopus)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)

• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus)

• Understanding of networking and security best practices
