Job Description

Summary

The primary goal of this role is to lead the design, development, and optimization efforts of the BMC Helix ecosystem, ensuring that all platform activities align with IT Services processes and objectives. The Senior Developer will utilize their technical expertise while mentoring junior developers and facilitating effective operational service delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of ITSM incidents and service requests in BMC Helix, adhering to ITIL processes.

• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and apply necessary fixes or workarounds.

• Update service tickets with proper information regarding categorization and resolution actions.

• Develop and configure solutions on the BMC Helix Platform.

• Build business workflows and service management processes.

• Translate IT Services requirements into standardized workflows.

• Provide technical management and mentorship to junior developers.

• Act as a subject matter expert for the BMC Helix Platform.

• Ensure alignment of development activities with governance standards.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development.

• Expertise in BMC Helix configuration and management.

• Proficiency in API integration.

• Background in ITSM incident and service request management.

• Strong skills in dashboard creation and monitoring.
