Location: hybrid model : 2x/week in the office in Warsaw

Rate: up to 175 pl/h net+vat (B2B)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator with over 10 years of management experience in Oracle Database versions 12c to 19c, including RAC and Data Guard. This role emphasizes a deep understanding of Oracle management tools, operating systems, and architecture design principles. The successful candidate will be a dedicated problem solver, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior DBA will be responsible for overseeing Oracle-based applications and ensuring their optimal performance and integrity.

• Prepare prePROD environment to enable FSFO.

• Sync the DataGuard if any issues arise.

• Rebuild the Standby as required.

• Manage DB Service Creation.

• Conduct PDB Level Service Validation.

• Create new databases.

• Migrate old PDB to new containers.

• Activate FSFO and troubleshoot related issues.

• Execute tests on prePROD environment (Switchover and Failover).

• Perform DB Level Patching and implement necessary OS changes.

• Handle RAC issues with Disaster Recovery.

• Set up OGG Microservices and OEM.

• Implement changes on PROD as required.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing Oracle Database versions 12c to 19c (RAC, Data Guard).

• Operating system experience in Linux.

• Proficiency with Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump).

• Strong understanding of architecture design principles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on details.

• Experience handling various types of Data Guard issues.

• Practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (19c).

• Proficient with Oracle Golden Gate (including process flow and management).

• Knowledgeable in storage solutions and FSFO problem-solving.

• Understanding of process management (Change management, Incident management).

• Familiarity with Oracle SR handling and OEM architecture.

Nice to Have

• Certifications related to Oracle Database Administration.

• Experience in cloud-based Oracle solutions.
