Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer. This role requires a strong background in data engineering and data warehousing, ensuring the design and delivery of production-ready data solutions that effectively support business needs. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of data models and pipelines, contributing to the modernization of our systems while advocating best practices in software engineering.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, your key responsibilities include:

• Support the foundational phase of our new data engineering team, converting business problems into data solutions.

• Design and build data models and pipelines ownership.

• Drive modernization from fragmented local systems to a unified solution.

• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout development.

• Set high delivery standards focusing on quality, reliability, and maintainability.

• Implement AI-assisted practices to boost productivity.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in data engineering and data warehousing.

• Ability to design data warehouse solutions prioritizing simplicity and maintainability.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.

• Comfortable taking ownership from requirements to production.

• Eager to understand and solve business domain problems.

• Solid experience with CI/CD and pipeline orchestration.

• Very good English (daily communication in English, multicultural environment)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI tools that enhance engineering productivity.

• Experience in implementing modern engineering practices.
