Senior Data Architect

Summary

The role of the Senior Data Architect focuses on shaping the data architecture within one of Denmark's largest pension and health insurance companies, supporting a new data strategy as part of the Forward 28 initiative.

Main Responsibilities

• Designing solutions to meet business needs and connecting technical and business domains.

• Aligning data architecture with the organization's IT strategy and target architecture.

• Enhancing platform capabilities for data engineers, data scientists, and actuaries.

• Developing and executing an actionable strategy for onboarding to Databricks.

• Collaborating with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and product owners.

• Guiding squads on data systems design ensuring strategic flexibility.

• Driving governance, knowledge sharing, and conducting workshops for alignment and execution.

Key Requirements

• Proven architectural knowledge in data modelling.

• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms.

• Capability to define and implement a comprehensive data strategy.

• Ability to communicate architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading technology change initiatives.

• 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Clear and convincing communication skills.

Other Details

Work Location: Onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark atleast 3 days a week, rest can be remote.
