Senior Data Architect

The Data Assets, Analytics & AI department focuses on enabling digital transformation by creating best-in-class analytical solutions, enabling data-driven decision making and performance optimization for the organization.

You will be part of the global data assets, analytics and AI platform and responsible for technically guiding projects in the area of Data & Analytics. You partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, analytics leads, data & platform architects, and engineers as well as implementation partners, ensuring proper data management, data ingestion, and pipeline orchestration.

Main Responsibilities:

You will hold a crucial role in ensuring technical excellence in data architecture:

• Own & lead technical implementation and management of well-integrated, enriched, and reusable data models and analytics products.

• Collect and manage data requirements of data consumers, translating them into technical concepts.

• Define and apply best-practice data management and quality assurance processes.

• Collaborate with other data architects and analytics leads to ensure sustainable pipelines and analytical products.

• Engage with business functions and IT teams to deliver solutions aligned with business priorities.

• Lead integration of different data sources and develop harmonized data models & KPIs.

• Steer delivery teams and ensure high-quality project outcomes.

• Contribute to best-practice exchange in data architecture and enhance the analytics technology stack.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.

• 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, preferably in the CPG industry.

• Excellent knowledge in data architecture and technology, with data engineering skills in spark-based data processing solutions.

• Proficient in data modeling techniques with mentoring capabilities.

• Knowledge in reporting solutions such as Power BI or Tableau and data management practices.

• Experience in the GitHub ecosystem, including CI/CD and collaboration practices.

• Experience in delivering data as a product and leading data engineering teams.

• Familiarity with Supply Chain data (Inventory, BOM, Production).

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and excellent business judgement.

• Fluent in English with intercultural awareness and willingness to travel.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

• Experience working with Python and Power BI.
