Senior Business Analyst with German

Work model: Remote

Business Travels: once a month would be a meeting in Frankfurt, Hanover or Münster (if possible)

Onboarding: 2 days onsite in Germany (Frankfurt, Hanover or Münster)

Summary: The Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner is responsible for delivering actionable results in a savings bank environment by formulating user stories and business cases. This role aims to enhance business processes within the bank while ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and prioritizing user stories in close cooperation with specialist departments.

• Developing complete business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and decision templates.

• Stakeholder management on both the specialist department and IT sides.

• Coordination on requirements and feasibility.

• Ensuring that requirements are documented in a compliant manner (SOC2, ISO 27001).

• Identifying AI potential within the assigned workstream.

Key Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a banking environment.

• Proven experience in creating business cases, not just user stories.

• Good AI knowledge. Being able to discuss AI topics, create documentation and manage the teams.

• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).

• Fluent German (at least B2+/C1) is mandatory.

Nice to Have:

• Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.

• Basic knowledge of SOC2 / ISO 27001 compliance.

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.

• Experience with Sparkasse/Finanz Informatik platforms.
