Summary:

The role of Senior AWS Network Engineer focuses on designing and delivering enterprise-grade network solutions that support a global infrastructure. This role aims to enhance cloud networking capabilities, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable connectivity.

Main Responsibilities:

Key duties include:

• Deliver the entire global network backbone infrastructure as defined in the project plan.

• Build centralized egress architectures using AWS Network Firewall for secure traffic management.

• Build and maintain AWS Cloud WAN infrastructure for seamless connectivity.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for consistent deployments.

• Collaborate with security architects and cloud engineers to translate requirements into architectures.

• Implement network automation and self-service capabilities for network services.

• Mentor network engineers through technical guidance.

• Ensure reliability, performance, and security of infrastructure through testing and monitoring.

• Troubleshoot and resolve multi-region network issues.

• Stay updated with AWS networking services and trends.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering focused on enterprise cloud networking solutions.

• Hands-on expertise with AWS Cloud WAN including configuration and multi-region connectivity.

• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Experience in designing centralized egress architectures with AWS Network Firewall.

• Track record of delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects.

• Problem-solving skills with creative thinking.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Data-driven approach to network optimization.

• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Additional certifications in AWS or networking technologies.

• Experience in a leadership role.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and control tools.

• Previous work in fast-paced environments.
