The Senior AWS Engineer will support the Cloud Acceleration team in delivering innovative IT cloud solutions to enhance renewable energy initiatives. This role focuses on setting up and maintaining AWS services, implementing infrastructure as code (IaC), and managing the data migration process.

Main Responsibilities:

* Set up Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and application code pipelines based on GitHub workflows.

* Configure AWS services including SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and Elasticache for Redis.

* Lead data migration efforts using Storage Gateway, DataSync, DMS, and S3 to meet specific migration needs.

* Create training materials and documentation such as onboarding guides, FAQs, and procedures for internal teams.

* Assist application teams with ad hoc issues, including firewall configurations and necessary alarm setups.

Key Requirements:

* Extensive experience and knowledge in AWS services, specifically EKS, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Elasticache for Redis, and CloudFormation.

* Proficiency with GitHub, GitOps, and tools such as SSM and Ansible.

* Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships in an international team.

* Solid understanding of IT architecture, strategy, and NIST-based security principles.

* Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to varied stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

* Previous involvement in green energy projects.

* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

* Experience working in multicultural environments and strong adaptability skills.
