Summary

The Senior Automation Tester in this role is responsible for leading the implementation of test automation, working closely with both development and infrastructure teams to integrate automation into the continuous delivery pipeline. This position aims to enhance the quality assurance process through effective test automation strategies and frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to implement test automation.

• Design, refine, and implement test automation approaches including roadmap, tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

• Support the functional SME in defining the approach to quality.

• Implement, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate test automation into the continuous delivery pipeline.

• Participate in cross-workstream collaboration within the QA communities.

• Conduct automation feasibility studies.

• Proactively seek continuous improvements in test coverage, execution, and automation.

• Understand test data dependencies within various contexts.

• Work effectively in an international, cross-country environment.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience (> 5 years) in test automation (and/or UI and WebServices, REST, SOAP).

• Experience with LeanFT .NET or similar tools.

• Strong experience with .NET or Java (> 5 years).

• Experience with SQL.

• Experience with Continuous Integration strategies.

• Experience with GIT or similar tools.

• Experience using JIRA and HP ALM.

• Leadership abilities and mentoring skills.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Banking and with the Temenos T24 system.

• Experience in agile frameworks and methodologies.

• Exposure to performance testing tools.

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
