Senior AI Innovation Engineer

We are looking for a forward-thinking AI Innovation Engineer with a passion for transforming digital landscapes through intelligent automation and low-code excellence. In this role, you will go beyond traditional testing to design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions that optimize both manual and automated testing. As an AI Innovation Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating Artificial Intelligence with low-code ecosystems. You will work alongside developers and product managers to build robust, automated frameworks that leverage AI to increase efficiency, predictive accuracy, and overall system performance, particularly in the testing area.

Main Responsibilities

• AI Integration: Designing and implementing AI/ML-driven features within OutSystems applications to improve user experience and operational efficiency in the Software Development Cycle process (SDLC), with a focus on the testing phase.
• Tool Prospecting: Identify cutting-edge AI tools and technologies that can be integrated into current Quality Assurance and Development workflows.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitating interaction between teams, ensuring that AI solutions are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
• Continuous Improvement: Driving a culture of "incremental innovation", constantly refining functionality, usability, and security through automated intelligence.

Key Requirements

• Strong proficiency in the OutSystems low-code platform.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation and at least 1 year with AI technology.
• Demonstrable proficiency in leveraging OutSystems low-code platforms (UiPath is desired) to create intelligent automation and "self-healing" processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI/Technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• A high degree of initiative, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for staying ahead of the curve in AI trends and emerging technologies.

• AI/Machine Learning Certifications (Azure AI, AWS Certified Machine Learning, etc.)
• ISTQB or Automation-specific certifications
