SAP Security Project Manager

Introduction & Summary:
The SAP Security Project Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing and governing SAP security measures. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in IT management and security, as well as technical project management abilities tailored toward the SAP environment. They must possess deep SAP knowledge to enhance platform security and efficiency. This position primarily requires global collaboration and stakeholder engagement to ensure the success of security initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
The SAP Security Project Manager will oversee the following duties:

• Define objectives and success criteria for the SAP Security bridge.

• Establish governance and ownership for security systems.

• Design implementation approach, including architecture and integration alignment with SAP.

• Implement the SAP security tool and governance guidelines.

• Create a common SAP security baseline and formalize approval.

• Establish governance forums and operational escalation paths.

• Translate security findings into actionable remediation plans.

• Define and redesign future SAP roles and their governance setup.

• Develop an implementation plan, cost estimates, and timelines.

Key Requirements:

• IT management expertise.

• Technical project management proficiency.

• Deep knowledge of SAP systems.

• Strong understanding of security protocols and policies.

• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Previous experience with SAP Security Bridge or similar tools.

• Experience in redesigning SAP roles.
