SAP Security Architect

Your expertise in SAP security is crucial as our organization embarks on a significant transformation journey with S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). We require a seasoned SAP Security Architect to lead our security strategy, architecture, and governance across a complex global SAP landscape, ensuring compliance and protecting critical business processes.

Main Responsibilities:

This role will demand your technical leadership within the SAP Security function, wherein you will define and implement the essential security architecture.

• Develop and refine the SAP security architecture,, standards, and governance.

• Deliver solutions that secure, compliant, and future-proof our SAP environment.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and compliance teams.

• Oversee the authorizations design and implementation across SAP environments.

• Lead the audit and compliance initiatives related to SAP security practices.

Key Requirements:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 15–20 years of relevant SAP Security experience, including several full lifecycle implementations and global rollouts.

• Deep hands-on expertise in SAP authorizations and security administration across key SAP modules (S/4, BW, ATTP, GBT).

• Strong experience with S/4HANA security and role redesign.

• Experience in SAP audit/security and compliance initiatives such as SoD remediation, SOX, and ITGC.

• Proficient in conducting SAP cybersecurity tasks including risk assessments and secure configuration.

• Consulting background is strongly preferred; experience with Big 4 consulting firms is highly desirable.

• Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control and/or SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance.

• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC).

• Background in regulated environments (e.g., GxP).

• Familiarity with SAP security vulnerability management tools.
