SAP Platform Engineer

Introduction & Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Platform Engineer with proven expertise in leading SAP BW migrations and a solid understanding of BW/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing a full BW on-prem to BW/4HANA migration and a deep technical background in data modeling and SAP HANA optimization. Main Responsibilities:
The SAP Platform Engineer will be responsible for ensuring successful migration and optimization of BW/4HANA systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading BW on-prem to BW/4HANA migrations.

• Utilizing SAP's BW/4HANA migration tooling effectively.

• Collaborating with SAP or certified partners on BW migration.

• Understanding and applying RISE with SAP commercial models.

• Assessing legacy objects for migration or rebuilding.

• Optimizing HANA performance regarding partitioning and indexing.

• Transitioning reporting tools to SAP Analytics Cloud.

Key Requirements:

• Senior level experience in SAP BW migrations.

• Hands-on experience with BW/4HANA migration delivery.

• Proficient with BW/4HANA data modeling (aDSO, CompositeProvider).

• Knowledge of SAP HANA optimization practices.

• Experience with BW/4HANA Cockpit and Migration Workbench.

• Understanding of network topology in cloud deployments.

• Familiarity with RISE, BTP, and managed cloud concepts.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of SAP Datasphere architecture.

• Knowledge of Data Products and enabling data mesh patterns.

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud integration.

• Experience defining data architecture standards.

• Knowledge of data lineage and cataloging.

• Interface management experience with SAP as a vendor.
