SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) Consultant – Oil & Gas

Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) Consultant with robust expertise in the Oil & Gas (Upstream) sector. The primary objective of this role is to manage Joint Venture Accounting processes, focusing on accurate cost allocation, efficient partner billing, and comprehensive financial reporting in accordance with joint operating agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) processes.

• Manage equity group setup, venture master data, and ownership splits.

• Handle cost recovery, billing, settlements, and partner reporting.

• Ensure accurate allocation, reconciliation, and distribution of costs and revenues.

• Integrate JVA with SAP FI/CO and IS-Oil modules for seamless financial processing.

• Support joint venture lifecycle processes, including expenditure tracking and recovery.

• Ensure compliance with joint operating agreements (JOAs) and financial regulations.

• Perform month-end closing activities, including JVA settlements and reporting.

• Troubleshoot issues and optimize JVA processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Key Requirements:

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in SAP JVA configuration and support.

• Solid understanding of Oil & Gas upstream joint venture processes.

• Expertise in cost allocation, billing, settlements, and partner reporting.

• Experience integrating JVA with FI/CO and SAP IS-Oil.

• Knowledge of financial controls, reconciliation, and reporting standards.
