SAP FI Specialist - General Accounting & Close, inc Assets & Tax

Summary

The SAP FI Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing finance processes at Syensqo through the effective use of SAP technologies, focusing particularly on SAP FI modules like FI-GL and FI-AA, to ensure seamless financial operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize SAP FI-GL, FI-AA, RE-FX and SAP closing processes to ensure reliability and system integrity.
• Provide daily support for incident resolution, service requests, and maintenance related to finance.
• Monitor automatic finance processes and manage the closing activities, addressing anomalies as necessary.
• Collaborate with IT finance professionals to analyze requirements and brainstorm solutions for finance processes.
• Participate in SAP FI projects, including upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
• Ensure data integrity and system security while adhering to IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
• Be available on-call on a rotating schedule to address urgent issues outside regular hours.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT finance roles.
• 5 years of demonstrable experience supporting SAP FI-GL and FI-AA.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4 finance modules.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SAP RE-FX and SAP FCC.
