SAP Consultant – FICO Interface

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a 25-year-old SAP solution deployed across 20 countries.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer from a retiring senior expert.

• Ensure system stability and continuity throughout the project duration.

• Prepare for potential future decommissioning of existing systems.

• Collaborate with various international teams to meet country-specific requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Deep expertise in SAP Retail, SD, and FI/CO modules.

• Ability to handle complex, highly customized systems with 60% customization.

• Strong technical consulting and troubleshooting skills.

• 10–15 years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP FI/CO.

• Expertise in FI/CO integration and interfaces.

• Understanding of financial processes and SAP implementation.

• Experience with cross-module integration.

• Proven track record in complex SAP environments with heavy modifications.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in long-term support projects for large retail or distribution companies.

• Exposure to legacy SAP systems (older versions like ECC with heavy customization).

• Experience in system stabilization and troubleshooting, beyond implementation roles.

• Ability to retain and transfer knowledge effectively.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities in legacy environments.
