SAP BASIS Specialist - RFP-257791-1

Summary:

The SAP Basis Administrator will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our SAP landscape as part of the SAP BASIS team in Pune, India. This role is crucial for maintaining system integrity and performance.

Location: Pune

Mode: Hybrid

Main Responsibilities:

Handle BAU SAP Basis activities, including monitoring system availability and performance.

• Conduct system performance analysis and tuning, including setting up and monitoring HA/DR.

• Troubleshoot issues related to SAP systems and manage configurations and patching.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SAP projects, including implementations, migrations, and upgrades.

• Perform system health checks and enforce SAP security protocols and compliance measures.

• Apply support packages, kernel upgrades, and security patches effectively.

• Document technical procedures, system configurations, and best practices.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience administering SAP systems.

• Proven expertise with SAP systems in AWS or Azure environments.

• Experience managing SAP on Linux.

• Strong understanding of SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase).

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP.

• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere.
