SAP & AI Subject Matter Expert – MCP / AI Agents

The role involves providing expert guidance on integrating Artificial Intelligence with SAP systems, specifically focusing on establishing an AI enablement framework using Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to prepare for future industrialization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide architectural guidance for AI integration with SAP systems using MCP.

• Define a target framework for MCP usage in large SAP environments.

• Advise on security and responsible AI considerations.

• Support MCP server setup for distinct domains like business support and SAP IT support.

• Enable and manage access patterns for SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SaaS solutions.

• Coordinate the primary AI agent, Microsoft Copilot, and explore additional agents.

• Design and execute technical and functional proofs of concept.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP SaaS).

• Proven expertise in AI integration and related technologies.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Knowledge of SAP BTP and OData services.

• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft AI ecosystem.

• Involvement in AI initiatives on ERP systems.
