We are looking for: In the context of a rich portfolio of Salesforce products, Syensqo is seeking a Salesforce Senior Developer to join our newly established capabilities center in Pune. As the Salesforce Senior Developer - CPQ & Pricing, you will join a dynamic team currently developing Salesforce CPQ across multiple business units and support its transition into long-term maintenance and evolution. You’ll work closely with the Product Owner and Functional Analyst to ensure that Salesforce is leveraged to its full potential - focusing on configuration, custom development and ongoing performance improvements.

Goals and deliverables

We count on you for:

• Implementing scalable CPQ and pricing logic using Apex, LWC, Flows and Dynamic Forms

• Translating complex business requirements into robust, user-friendly Salesforce solutions

• Developing and enhancing key CPQ components (Quote creation, Quote Line Items, Charges, Pricing Settings, Approval Flows, Quote PDF Outputs etc.)

• Supporting deployments, incident resolution and root cause analysis across our 2 Salesforce solutions

• Collaborating with Product Owners and Functional Analysts on estimates, assessing feasibility and refining solutions

• Building smart technical designs with reusability, scalability, user friendliness, and performance in mind

• Documenting features with clarity and maintaining solution traceability through Jira & Confluence

• Taking ownership of release readiness - including regression testing and post-deployment validations

• Contributing to the long-term technical governance of the CPQ ecosystem at Syensqo

• Stay abreast of updates from Salesforce’s periodic releases to enhance platform use.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related engineering field.

• 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, ideally including CPQ implementation

• Key skills where proven experience will be evaluated during interview, by order of relevance:

• Knowledge of Development best practices

• Salesforce development backend and front-end (Eg. Apex, LWC, SOQL)

• Flows, Dynamic forms, Automations

• Key CPQ concepts (Pricing Conditions and Calculations, Approvals, Validity Dates) 

• General configuration (point&click solutions) 

• Release management best practices 

• Salesforce APIs and ETLs such as Talend

• Scrum agile methodologies

• The following certifications are a plus to have but not mandatory:

• Platform Developer 2

• Salesforce CPQ Specialist

• Advanced Administrator, B2B Commerce or Experience Cloud are a plus

• Flow Specialist SuperBadge and LWC Specialist SuperBadge

• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder interaction skills

• Previous experience with Copado is a good plus

• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Git is an advantage.
