Research Manager (Brand & Marketing) to gaming client
We are looking for a Research Manager within Brand & Marketing to our gaming client.
Start date: 1 June
Contract Length: 18 months
Location: Stockholm/hybrid (3 days per week on-site is required)
Join our Brand & Marketing team to lead consumer research that shapes strategy, positioning, and decision-making. You will own the research roadmap end-to-end, ensuring studies align with business goals and deliver clear, actionable insights. Working closely with marketing, product, and external partners, you’ll turn player and audience understanding into meaningful impact. Job Description: Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end consumer research projects, including defining objectives, managing vendors, aligning stakeholders, and delivering insight-driven reports and presentations.
Own and evolve the research roadmap, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and broader business priorities.
Deliver and share actionable insights with Brand & Marketing teams to inform strategy, campaigns, and decision-making.
Lead long-term strategic research initiatives, including brand tracking, audience understanding, and segmentation.
Act as the owner and expert of audience segmentation frameworks, ensuring they are applied effectively across the organization.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in consumer research, insights, or market research — or equivalent experience
Proven experience leading end-to-end research projects, including vendor management and stakeholder alignment
Strong experience designing and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Ability to synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Agency experience is a plus
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in gaming, entertainment, or digital consumer products.
Experience with brand tracking, segmentation, and long-term strategic research programs.
Ability to work with data tools such as SPSS, Excel, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
Familiarity with research tools and methodologies such as surveys, interviews, ethnography, and analytics platforms.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Experience working with external research agencies and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex research into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
Passion for understanding player behavior and translating insights into impactful strategies.
