Reporting Lead (Insurance Industry Experience)

Summary

This role is crucial in spearheading the design and delivery of enterprise reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions within an organization in the insurance sector, enhancing data-driven decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise reporting and BI solutions across the organization.

• Develop and maintain semantic models, cubes, and tabular models using Microsoft SSAS.

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

• Develop and optimize complex MDX and DAX queries to support advanced analytical reporting.

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

• Ensure reporting accuracy, performance optimization, and data consistency across platforms.

Key Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with MS SSAS (Tabular and/or Multidimensional models).

• Advanced Power BI development skills including data modeling, visualization design, and performance optimization.

• Strong expertise in MDX and DAX query development.

• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.

• Experience working with enterprise data warehouse environments.

• Strong understanding of BI architecture and semantic layer design.

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps delivery environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
