Release Manager

Hybrid model: minimum 1 day in the office; from September, 2 days in the office, Łódź, Warsaw or Tricity

Salary: up to about 170 PLN/H net + VAT, B2B contract,

Main Responsibilities:

The Release Manager will oversee the coordination and management of multiple releases while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

• Coordinating, planning, and maintaining the release roadmap for applications.
• Planning and coordinating multiple parallel releases and deployment activities.
• Organizing release go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Tracking change activities throughout the release process.
• Leading release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval.
• Setting up handover sessions from development to operations teams.
• Enhancing release quality and efficiency through automation and DevOps practices.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of IT project management and planning skills.
• Experience in release or deployment management, preferably in banking.
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes under the ITIL framework.
• Proficient in Project Management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps ways of working.
• Basic understanding of the business aspects interfacing with IT.
