React Developer

Location: Cracow/ Hybrid (6 days per month in the office- flexible days)

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled React Developer to join our Business Services Digital team, which operates within the HTS Global Banking and Markets IT division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in delivering web applications and have a proven track record in front-end development. Key skills include expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and React.JS, with a solid understanding of agile development methodologies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement web-based applications.

• Maintain a delivery-oriented approach towards software development.

• Mentor department members, providing guidance and knowledge transfer.

• Deliver well-structured and tested systems on time and budget.

• Adhere to coding best practices and project management methodologies.

• Manage and coordinate software releases through to production.

Key Requirements:

• A proven track record delivering web applications.

• Experience with front-end layers of projects with rich UI.

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors like SASS and Less.

• Strong knowledge of React.JS.

• Good knowledge of Angular.

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest and Testing Library React.

• Ability to create pixel-perfect UI as per specifications.

• Experience in designing responsive GUIs for desktop and mobile applications.

• Understanding of accessibility and cross-browser standards.

• Familiarity with data marshalling/de-marshalling using JSON and XML.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with git and IDEs like IntelliJ and VSCode.

• Knowledge of responsive web techniques.

• Good knowledge of Node/Express.

This position is contract-based and falls within the Information Technology function. The role involves collaborative work in an agile environment and focuses on the development and support of IT solutions for the Business Services sector.
