QA Engineer
Daily tasks :
1.Test Planning and Preparation (Product , Integration , E2E & Regression Testing)
2. Web/App Testing (Andriod, IOS)
3. Test Case Execution, Defect Reporting and Tracking
4. Collaboration and Mentorship
5. Automation experience in Robot Framework or similar QA automation frameworks, and relevant testing tools for web or mobile applications
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Test Strategy, Planning & Execution
• Define and execute end-to-end test strategies across web flows.
• Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate critical customer journeys (e.g. PDP, Search, Availability, Checkout).
• Identify, document, and track defects; support root-cause analysis with engineering teams.
2. Automation & Quality Enablement
• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks with a focus on Robot Framework.
• Build reusable, maintainable test components aligned with system boundaries.
• Enable continuous validation of critical flows (smoke, regression, health checks).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support safe and frequent releases.
3. End-to-End & Production-Like Validation
• Support E2E testing across distributed architectures and multiple ownership boundaries.
• Contribute to strategies for production-like testing, test data stability, and validation in higher environments.
• Partner with Ops and Data teams on observability, failure detection, and rollback readiness.
4. Cross-Team QA Coordination (Acceleration Focus)
• Act as a QA connector across Product teams, reducing duplication and gaps.
• Establish shared testing standards, practices, and tooling.
• Support teams with onboarding into common QA approaches.
• Help shift QA from team-local execution to system-level quality ownership.
5. Continuous Improvement & Mentorship
• Identify bottlenecks and risks in current testing approaches and propose improvements.
• Mentor other QA engineers and developers on testing best practices.
• Promote a culture of early validation, automation, and shared ownership of quality.
Minimum technical skills:
• Proficiency in web testing tools and environments (e.g.Appium, BrowserStack, and similar platforms).
• Strong understanding of development tools and environments: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as QMetry or Xray.
• Robot Framework experience (preferred) or strong familiarity with Python for automated testing.
• Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into delivery workflows.
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools: Git, Jira, Confluence.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns as applied to test design
