QA Coordinator / Test Manager

emagine is seeking an experienced Test Manager / QA Coordinator who can own the QA setup in a complex financial environment - and initially also support with project coordination. You will be part of a team developing new large‑scale payment processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA across the full SDLC and ensure structured test governance.

• Prepare test strategies, test plans, and test documentation.

• Drive system testing and UAT with clear entry/exit criteria.

• Coordinate timelines, risks, and stakeholders early in the project.

• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and the PO in an agile setup.

• Communicate test status, risks, and overall quality.

• Design tests, apply test techniques, and ensure QA compliance.

• Work with Xray/ALM, Postman, and testing on Java/Mainframe platforms.

• Apply or explore AI‑supported testing methods where relevant.

• Bridge business and tech, especially within payments (ISO20022).

Must‑Haves

• Solid experience as Test Manager/QA Coordinator.

• Strong SDLC understanding and experience in regulated environments.

• Experience with system testing, UAT, and risk‑based testing.

• Hands-on with test management tools (preferably Xray + ALM).

• Platform understanding (Java/Mainframe).

• Experience and interest in using AI to support test design, test data creation, defect analysis, or prioritization.

• ISTQB certification (Foundation minimum).

• Experience within the financial sector.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work independently and drive QA activities end‑to‑end.
