QA Automation Tester (Backend)

ROLE DECRIPTION:

For our client, we are looking for QA Engineers based in Warsaw for a long-term remote assignment. You will be working with a team of highly skilled developers and engineers to create and maintain cutting-edge software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and tools, and contribute to the development of new features and functionalities that enhance the overall user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform load tests.
• Conduct e2e tests with the usage of Cypress & JavaScript.
• Be involved in preparing for the future e2e tests with Playwright & JavaScript stack.
• Perform unit / system / integration tests using XUnit, NSubstitute and C#.
• Be involved in the creation of the custom testing framework.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript regarding testing area.
• Having SQL basics
• Testing message (events-based) services.
• Having experience with testing SOAP and Rest APIs.
• Holding expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Having strong knowledge of QA theory, test patterns, and types and being able to apply those.
• Holding extensive experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Having proficiency in API testing and knowledge of performance testing.
• Understanding of the principles of shift-left testing and test-driven development (TDD).
