Project Manager (HashiCorp Vault Implementation)

One of our partners are initiating a project to implement HashiCorp Vault as a centralized secrets management solution in our IT environment. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the secure management of credentials, API keys, certificates, and other sensitive data across applications and infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation project in collaboration with internal stakeholders and technical specialists.

Scope of Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for planning, managing, and driving the Vault implementation project from initiation to delivery.

Project Planning

• Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables

• Develop and maintain the project plan and timeline

• Coordinate resources across internal teams and external consultants

• Identify risks and dependencies

Project Execution

• Lead project meetings and status reporting

• Ensure alignment between security, infrastructure, and development teams

• Track progress and manage delivery against agreed milestones

• Manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the central point of coordination between stakeholders

• Facilitate communication between technical teams and management

• Ensure expectations and deliverables are clearly defined

Governance & Documentation

• Maintain project documentation and reporting

• Ensure compliance with internal governance and security requirements

• Support decision-making through structured reporting

Deliverables

• Project plan and roadmap

• Defined milestones and delivery phases

• Regular project status reports

• Risk and issue tracking

• Coordination of technical implementation activities

• Project closure documentation and handover

Required QualificationsMandatory

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure or security projects

• Strong experience in project management methodologies

• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with security or secrets management platforms such as HashiCorp Vault

• Experience with infrastructure, DevOps, or platform projects

• Experience working with external consultants and vendors
