Summary: The role of a Presales Lead is crucial for driving revenue growth in Cloud Managed Services by developing solution architectures tailored for enterprise and mid-size clients and building strategic relationships with IT decision-makers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather and capture business requirements by coordinating with customers and the sales team.
- Analyze the customers' AS-IS and TO-BE infrastructure/application/security requirements on Cloud.
- Translate RFP/RFI documents to extract business requirements and prepare technical responses.
- Design optimized solutions on public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) based on customer specifications.
- Conduct customer presentations and whiteboarding sessions to showcase the company’s capabilities.
- Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions.
- Create comprehensive cloud migration plans.
- Participate in public events and produce technical written content (whitepapers, articles, blogs).
- Deliver internal training sessions.
- Assist delivery teams with knowledge transition.
Key Requirements:- Proven experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) – at least one is mandatory.
- 7-15 years of IT/datacenter experience with a minimum of 5+ years focused on cloud infrastructure/application as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Architect.
- Relevant cloud technology certification (Expert/Associate level).
- Expertise in architecting complex enterprise-grade solutions for on-premise and cloud environments.
- Experience with either cloud infrastructure (IaaS) solutions or cloud applications (PaaS, Serverless, Containers, CI/CD).
Nice to Have:- Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience with Windows/Linux OS and Active Directory integration.
- Proficient in designing solutions that ensure high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud automation tools like Terraform, ANSIBLE or ARM Templates.
- Strong client-facing skills with an ability to influence outcomes.
- Capable of designing solutions that meet requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Collaborative mindset for working with various project teams.
- Willingness to travel locally and globally (30-40%) as required.
