Summary: The role of the Power BI Consultant is to develop and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions, focusing on automating internal processes for a large global pharmaceutical company. This role emphasizes building Power BI reports and integrating Microsoft Copilot features to enhance data interaction and insights delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate flows and Power Apps.

• Document processes and workflows for solutions.

• Provide training for users of solutions, both online and in-person.

• Design and build engaging Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Integrate AI capabilities using Microsoft Copilot within Power BI.

• Create Power Automate flows for data connectivity and BI output visibility.

• Ensure governance of Power BI workspaces and security settings.

• Engage with business stakeholders to define and translate requirements into data models.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive Power BI development experience (advanced level).

• Strong proficiency in DAX and complex data transformations using Power Query.

• Semantic model and dataset design skills including star schemas.

• Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI service governance.

• Integration experience with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.

• Ability to develop Power Apps, both canvas and model-driven.

• Experience with Power Automate and its wide array of connectors.

• Capability to engage with stakeholders autonomously for requirement gathering.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP connectivity in Power BI.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.

• Knowledge of Power BI Embedded and Azure.
