Platform Architect (AWS & Technical Lead)
Introduction & Summary:
The Platform Architect serves as the lead technical authority for the platform. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and leading a modernized, scalable, multi-tenant architecture on AWS, focusing on performance, low latency, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess more than 7 years of hands-on expertise with core AWS services and profound knowledge in creating high-traffic, distributed SaaS platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
This role encompasses key responsibilities aimed at fostering a robust platform architecture:
Design and implement a secure, multi-tenant microservices architecture on AWS.
Manage the complete CI/CD pipeline for unified product deployment.
Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Lead the creation of Platform Acceleration Scripts.
Enforce technical standards and chair the Technical Review Board.
Oversee the centralized data lake/warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical design with business goals.
Key Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:
AWS Expert with 7+ years of experience in core AWS services.
Expert proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
Proven experience in designing high-traffic, multi-tenant distributed SaaS platforms.
Expertise in observability and SRE metrics.
Nice to Have:
Preferred qualifications that supplement the main requirements include:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Professional.
Experience with Backstage (IDP) and Kubernetes operator development.
Deep knowledge of AdTech data pipeline security and high-volume data ingestion.
