We are seeking an experienced Platform Architect (AWS & Technical Lead) to serve as a senior technical authority and drive the modernization of a scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platform. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on AWS expertise with strong leadership skills, guiding both Platform Back-End and Front-End teams toward architectural excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term platform sustainability.

Role Overview

The Platform Architect is responsible for defining and leading the technical vision for a modern, high-performance cloud platform. This includes designing secure multi-tenant architectures, driving CI/CD automation, governing technical standards, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement a secure, multi-tenant microservices architecture on AWS.

• Define the tenancy model (pooled vs. siloed) with strict data isolation and tenant security.

• Ensure platform resilience through automated recovery, well-defined RTO/RPO, multi-region failover, and DR/BCP testing.

• Own and manage the complete CI/CD pipeline.

• Build a unified deployment pipeline that supports configuration-driven provisioning.

• Drive full automation across testing, deployment, monitoring, and documentation workflows.

• Architect and maintain all cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

• Enforce best practices for immutable infrastructure, version control, and environment consistency.

• Lead the creation of Platform Acceleration Scripts.

• Develop and maintain standardized service templates to increase development speed.

• Establish and chair a Technical Review Board for architectural consistency and security standards.

• Implement FinOps practices including AWS cost-allocation tagging and automated cost-optimization processes.

• Design and oversee a centralized data lake/warehouse architecture.

• Standardize the ingest, transformation, and access layers for data.

• Partner with Product, AI, and Data teams to translate business goals into technical solutions.

• Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams and support long-term planning.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including EKS/ECS/Kubernetes and Lambda.

• Expert proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC deployments.

• Proven success architecting and scaling distributed, high-traffic, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

• Strong SRE/Observability experience: SLAs, SLIs, SLOs, Datadog, Prometheus.

Nice to Have

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification.

• Experience with Backstage (Internal Developer Platform) and Kubernetes operator development.

• Knowledge of AdTech data pipeline security and large-scale data ingestion.
