Participants & Business Engagement

Summary:

This role centers on leading the strategy for a unified digital ecosystem aimed at enhancing business engagement for Expo 2030 Riyadh, focusing on optimizing the participant experience and stakeholder interactions.

Main Responsibilities:

Core duties include defining the engagement strategy and overseeing stakeholder interactions.

• Defining participant and business engagement strategy and target operating model

• Designing digital onboarding, activation, servicing, collaboration, and support journeys

• Developing technology strategy for participant portals, CRM, workflows, communications, and ecosystem collaboration

• Supporting integration with Saudi government services including licensing, permits, compliance, customs, and immigration-related coordination

• Defining digital enablement for startup ecosystems, innovation hubs, and collaboration initiatives

• Identifying monetizable digital services and premium engagement opportunities

• Assessing vendor landscape across CRM, portals, workflow platforms, case management, collaboration tools, and monetization solutions

• Supporting procurement strategy, vendor evaluation, and implementation partner selection

Key Requirements:

• Prior Expo or mega-event experience (World Expo, Olympics, FIFA, Formula 1, Hajj-scale operations, etc.)

• Strong experience in participant services, exhibitor management, partner ecosystems, or stakeholder engagement

• Proven background in digital strategy, lifecycle design, and operating models for large-scale ecosystems

• Experience with CRM platforms, service workflows, collaboration tools, and vendor assessments

• Strong stakeholder management skills across government, international organizations, operators, and delivery partners

Nice to Have:

• Experience in technology innovation for events

• Keen understanding of the Saudi market and regulatory environment

• Familiarity with global best practices in event management and stakeholder engagement
