Node.js Engineer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Location: hybrid (visit Warsaw 1-2/quarter)

We are looking for a Node.js Engineer with expertise in AWS cloud and system integration. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in Node.js alongside relevant experience in system and data integration.

Main Responsibilities

• Engage in server-side JavaScript development utilizing Node.js.

• Design and implement REST-like APIs efficiently.

• Participate in data analysis, transformation, and validation efforts.

• Contribute to the development of distributed systems with a focus on robust design patterns.

• Collaborate on the design, development, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform.

• Utilize GitHub tools efficiently for version control and CI/CD processes.

• Conduct troubleshooting using basic Linux command line tools.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Node.js (server-side JavaScript) development.

• 2+ years of experience in system/data integration.

• 1+ year of experience working on distributed systems.

• 2+ years of experience in REST-like API design and implementation.

• Basic knowledge of AWS services, with a focus on serverless technologies such as Lambda, SQS, and CloudWatch.

• Solid understanding of the GitHub tool suite, including CI/CD with GitHub Actions.

• Basic knowledge of Linux command line tools and shell scripting.

• Good communication and teamwork skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the design and development of Terraform infrastructure-as-code for AWS services.

• Familiarity with additional AWS services such as DynamoDB and DocumentDB.

• Proficiency in streaming services on AWS.
