Network Expert with Strong GCP Knowledge
Introduction & Summary
We are seeking a Senior GCP Network Expert with exceptional Terraform skills to lead the evolution of cloud infrastructure for a dynamic and innovative organization. This role is centered around transitioning from legacy networking frameworks to a modern, identity-aware, and automated architecture utilizing the latest tools available from Google Cloud.
Main Responsibilities
As a Senior GCP Network Expert, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s cloud networking approach. Key responsibilities include:
Modern IaC Management: Maintain and enhance high-version modular IaC using Terraform (v1.11+).
NCC Orchestration: Oversee large-scale hub-and-spoke networks using the Network Connectivity Center (NCC).
Identity-Aware Security: Implement advanced Network Firewall Policies and Secure Tags.
Service Connectivity (PSC & GXLB): Expertly configure Private Service Connect for internal services.
Advanced DNS Architecture: Manage complex DNS systems with advanced policy configurations.
Secure Egress & Proxying: Complete the implementation of Secure Web Proxy and maintain Linux-level routing.
Key Requirements
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Networking.
Strong skills in Terraform, particularly with modular IaC.
Comprehensive knowledge of NCC, PSC, GXLB, and Cloud DNS.
Proficiency in TLS inspection, WAF integration, and Zero Trust Networking.
Solid experience with Linux-level Networking and Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs).
Nice to Have
Experience with network automation.
Familiarity with modern network security practices.
Background in enterprise-level cloud solutions.
