Mid/Senior Data Business Analyst

We are seeking a Mid to Senior Data Business Analyst with strong business acumen and proven analytical skills. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly in consulting environments with direct client engagement, which is essential for success in this role.

You will join a dynamic analytics team focused on delivering modern data products and solutions, primarily within the Life Sciences industry, supporting a range of global commercial and analytical initiatives.

In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing business requirements and ensuring data quality for commercial reporting and analytics.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing and validating business requirements for commercial reporting and analytical solutions.

• Identifying, profiling, and modeling data sources, including logical and physical data models.

• Performing detailed data analysis and preparing analytical SQL scripts.

• Defining and documenting data product specifications.

• Preparing and executing system integration tests (SIT) and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.

• Troubleshooting issues and ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.

• Creating analytical documentation and technical specifications.

• Working closely with business stakeholders and actively participating in meetings.

• Collaborating with internal and client project teams within an agile environment.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar analytical role.

• Proficiency in SQL or similar query languages.

• Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Amazon S3, Jira, and Confluence.

• Experience with Excel and common BI tools (e.g., Power BI).

• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.

• A proactive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Very good command of English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with commercial data domains such as sales, customer, product, loyalty, FFE, and related areas.

• Familiarity with the Life Sciences sector, with a preference for Animal Health; experience in Human Pharma is also welcome.

• Prior experience working directly with clients in a consulting or advisory role.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including collaboration with global stakeholders.

• Background in AI, data integration, or data science.

• Ability to assess project context and identify dependencies and potential risks.

• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban).
