Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with over 7 years of experience to drive the design and development of a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure. This role will involve integrating diverse data from multiple enterprise systems to establish a unified data ecosystem, allowing for robust analytics and AI-driven insights across various business domains.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated data pipelines integrating 10+ enterprise systems.
• Develop efficient data models for analytics and AI insights.
• Implement strong data governance frameworks and optimize pipeline performance.
• Prepare structured datasets for consumption by BI and AI/ML models.
• Create technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

Key Requirements

• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric)
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Experience with Azure Functions and Apache Kafka
• Skilled in Docker Containers
• Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational)
• Multi-Source Data Integration (SAP BW, SAP HANA, etc.)
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and Real-Time Data Processing
• Understanding of Data Governance and Security
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SAP DataSphere and SAP ERP data structures
• Experience in performance tuning and ETL/ELT processes
