Summary: The role of a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer is to design and develop a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure, integrating data from various enterprise systems to build a unified data ecosystem that enhances analytics and insights.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data integration, designing automated pipelines for 10+ enterprise systems.

• Develop efficient data models for analytics and AI-driven insights.

• Implement data governance frameworks and optimize pipeline performance.

• Provide clean and enriched datasets for BI and AI/ML consumption.

• Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering.

• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure data technologies.

• Strong skills in data modeling and multi-source data integration.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Experience with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with SAP BW and SAP HANA data structures.

• Experience with CI/CD and version control in GitHub.

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
