M365 Senior Specialist

• Location: Gdańsk - hybrid (at least 50% in-office per month)
• Team Size: 6 members

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Consultant / SME to join our client’s IT Operations Transformation team. This role is ideal for a technology leader with deep expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem and a passion for driving modernization initiatives. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic IT projects with minimal support tasks, working in a collaborative, agile environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• 90% involvement in project work, 10% on support tasks.
• Lead Microsoft 365-related IT transformation projects across the organization.
• Act as both a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and hands-on contributor.
• Replace outdated IT services and implement modern cloud-based solutions.
• Prepare detailed documentation for all completed projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current on Microsoft developments (e.g., Microsoft Ignite) and identify integration opportunities.
• Support compliance initiatives, especially around email security and Microsoft Purview.

Key Requirements:

• Microsoft & M365 ecosystem expertise
• Experience with Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams, Entra ID, MS Graph & permissions
• Exchange Online, SMTP, DNS, email concepts
• Strong proficiency: Email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), Active Directory / Hybrid Identity, Azure (RBAC, Storage), Microsoft 365 Purview (retention, compliance), Zero-Trust security in M365
• Working knowledge: Windows Server, ShareGate, Microsoft Copilot & other AI tools
• Master’s degree in IT or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with significant experience in large IT organizations
• Strong track record of working in environments with defined roles and change control
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Independent, proactive, and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Azure concepts and security frameworks
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies
• Basic understanding: Power Platform, ServiceNow, Azure Communication Services (ACS)
